A policeman from London has been found guilty of causing an accident in which a cyclist was left with brain damage.
The rider and promising singer-songwriter was hit by a police van whist he was cycling in East London.
He was left with serious spine injuries and brain damage Southwark Crown Court heard.
The policeman, who reached speeds of 68mph in a 30mph zone, is due to be sentenced in early October.
